KAMPALA– The Uganda National Examinations Board UNEB has today announced the dates when Primary Seven, Senior Four and Six candidates will sit for their examination.
This is contained in a circular dated 9th February which indicates that Primary Seven candidates will sit for Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) from 7th to 9th November 2022.
Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations are set to be done from 14th October to 18th November 2022 while Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education Examinations are set for 18th November to 9th December 2022.
In the statement, Dan Nokratch Odong the UNEB secretary notes that registration of all candidates (PLE, UCE & UACE) commences this month until 31st May 2022.
Odongo adds that for candidates who miss registering during the normal period, a period has been set for late registration effective 1st to 30th June 2022.
He however asserts that this will attract a surcharge of 50% of the registration fees at UCE and UACE and 100% for the Primary Leaving Examinations level.
